Forest Carbon

All the paper you buy from us is carbon neutral as we have been supporters of Forest Carbon since 2019.  We plant trees through the Forest Carbon scheme to offset carbon produced in paper manufacture.

Local Charities

Since 2020 Discounted Office Supplies have supported local charities to give something back to the community.  For 2026 and 2027 we are supporting two Fife based charities, Fife Gingerbread and Fife Young Carers.  In recent years we have also supported The Cookie Jar Foundation, Andy's Man Club and Fife Woman's Aid.  Through participating in the Kiltwalk we have managed to raise more than £8,000 for our selected charities.

Toner & Battery Recycling

We can collect and recycle all of your used ink and toner cartridges quickly and easily.  All you need to if put your used cartridges in a box (without any packaging) and we can collect these when making deliveries.  We hold a Waste Carriers License to allow us to carry the cartridges for recycling.

A free battery recycling service is also offered.  Please contact us and we can provide a box or tub which you can put your used household type batteries in.  When this is full let us know and we can collect when making a delivery and replace with a new box or tub.

Supporting Local

We are strong advocates of using local suppliers and companies throughout Fife and Edinburgh.  We like nothing more than supporting our customers when possible which creates stronger relationships.  There are economical and environmental benefits by supporting local businesses which sits well with our company ethos.

Much of our cardboard and pallets are given to a local market garden in Aberdour - Echo Earth Care - who can use our waste to grow their produce without the need for chemicals and by using permaculture principles.  Their produce is very yummy indeed!
