Forest Carbon 

All the paper you buy from us is carbon neutral as we have been supporters of Forest Carbon since 2019.  We plant trees through the Forest Carbon scheme to offset carbon produced in paper manufacture.

Local Charities

Since 2020 Discounted Office Supplies have supported local charities to give something back to the community.  We have decided to support a local charity celebrating it's tenth birthday in 2023 - The Cookie Jar Foundation.  In recent years we have also supported Fife Gungerbread, Andy's Man Club and Fife Woman's Aid.  Through participating in the Kiltwalk we have managed to raise more than £7,000 for our selected charities.

Toner Recycling

We offer a toner recycling scheme whereby we can collect any used ink cartridges and toner cartridges and have these recycled.  If you would like us to collect any printer consumables just let us know when you're placing an order and we can collect them when making a delivery.  Please recycle the packaging yourselves and put the consumables in a box for us to collect.

Supporting Local 

We are strong advocates of using local suppliers and companies throughout Fife and Edinburgh.  We like nothing more than supporting our customers when possible which creates stronger relationships.  There are economical and environmental benefits by supporting local businesses which sits well with our company ethos.

Much of our cardboard and pallets are given to a local market garden in Aberdour - Echo Earth Care - who can use our waste to grow their produce without the need for chemicals and by using permaculture principles.  Their produce is very yummy indeed!
